What would you like to see in an upscale nail salon?

For example, refreshments offered while you're having the service done, a line of products for at-home hand/foot care (sugar scrubs, lotions, etc)? After-hours special occasion spa parties?





What color scheme or theme would you find most appealing?What would you like to see in an upscale nail salon?
Your best bet would be soft blues and greens for color schemes. It would have to be VERY clean, with beautful designer seats to sit in. And the way you present the nails would be something different than just glueing a sample to a white board with a number on it.


You could invest in a few flat screens [this is upscale, right?] and put a slideshow of your most popular or new nail designs, that would showcase it all.


I would like a good sound system, top billboard songs always on [not on the radio], the staff would have to be very friendly, complimentary things like a small foot massage after the pedicure or a hand massage after a manicure.


Refreshments were a very cool idea. Also offer Spa Parties for the customer to host, that is a must. Would be a very popular idea.

I love colors that are fresh, and fun-- but still sophisticated. Like lime for the walls, or a pale grapefruit. The floor could be crisp white, or like in Forever 21 with the little mirror sparkles in it.





Some people prefer a more spa like environment like darker colors and cherry woods, but I think that's too much.





I think that refreshments would be good while you were waiting and if you were getting a pedicure.





I love the idea of the special occasion parties.
