I bought a at home straighter from the local drug store. It was $30 and had decent results. Ask a friend to help you apply :)

good luck! How can I get rid of my perm without the embarasment of going back to the salon?
it's not embarrassing just say u need it straight again 4 a party or so :D good lucks
You can ether use a straightener or a flat iron every morning or go to another salon.

It might help to brush through your hair with a BRUSH, not a pick like your supposed to, and use a good conditioner to take care of the dry, frazzled, frizzy, and kinky hair.

~Hope This Helps!~
you should have washed it within 24 hours to deactivate the chemicals
Wash it twice a day. Use a lot of conditioner like Panteen Pro-V Restoratives. Straighten it daily. That really REALLY helps. Before you straighten it use Sun Silk straightening cream and after it dries use Sun silk Anti-frizz. It will take months to go back to normal, but it will look pretty close to normal if you use/ do the things I said.
i think u should go to another salon nearby and tell them to straiten ur hair!!!!

hope that helps!!!
You can not reverse the procedure. You will have to grow it out. You need to start moisturizing your hair after you get chemicals added to your hair. It is fixable.
If you really don't want to go back to the same salon (maybe you should, because they might fix it for free), go to a different salon with a good reputation, may cost more but will be worth it.
There is NO way to reverse the effects of a perm. The hair shaft itself has been chemically altered. The only thing to do is wait for your hair to grow out sufficiently so you can cut it off. Meanwhile, you might want to wear cute little hats and scarves. If you have long hair, just twist it back, pin it up, pull it into a pony tail. I know this isn't what you wanted to hear, but trust me dear, it will grow back.

Agape,

go to a different salon- however- if you go back to the salon (if you trust them enough to ever go back) who gave you your perm and tell them what you don't like- they should be willing to help you fix your hair at a discounted price or for free if they messed up i.e. the perm is too tight, or uneven curls, etc, and they may have left the perm on too long if its a s dry as you say- however- since you're not supposed to wash your hair for three days after getting a perm i suggest this- on the third day when you wash your hair use an intense conditioner like the new intense conditioners from pantene (they are amazing- i just love them) wash your hair a s normal, rinsing extra long to help rinse the chemicals out, then apply the conditioner thickly. wrap your hari in a warm towel and let it sit for 10 min. rinse and let air dry. your hair should fell tons softer...

unless its exactly what you asked for and now you're having second thoughts- if that's the case by all means go to another salon.

I've had cousins who bought home perms to straighten their hair, and you could do this, but as perming is a chemical process, and you'll be putting your hair though this in a small time span you risk damaging your hair severely.

the salon will be able to help you fix your hair in the least damaging way as possible...
Alright, you can make sure you wash it with a clarifying shampoo. Use a deep conditioner to get your hair back into shape. Once you have it healthy again ( you may even like the perm once your hair is healthy. It sounds like it was over-processes or not healthy enough to have had a perm in the 1st place) you can get a gently perm kit and apply it to the hair and brushing the hair straight, this will take out the perm and relax it. it you decide to do this make sure you apply the perm solution evenly over the whole head and when it comes to neutralizing the hair make sure the water is blotted out so the neutralizer can soak in and keep the straight look locked in. Good luck
If you are dissatisfied, you should go back. You paid for it and they should fix it. I am a friend with a beautician, they want people to be satisfied so they will come back and not speak badly of their work. They should be glad to take care of you.

Tell them exactly what you want and take a picture or something for them to go by, just flat out tell them.
when u get out of the shower put moose in it, that will help the frizz, but if you want it straight again u have to straighten it. ( with a flat iron ).
