Can anyone recommend a hairdresser/salon in London that is good with curly hair?

Should you wash your hair after getting a hair-doo from a salon?
My step mom is so freaking particular about washing your hair right after having a haircut from the salon. But if you wash it don't you think the hair-doo will get messed up??

Nooo!! Why would your haircut get messed up after a shampoo? The only time you cant wash your hair after getting it done is when you get a perm. I am a beautician so i know this as fact!Should you wash your hair after getting a hair-doo from a salon?
i wash my hair with the hair %26amp; sholder . r u gess i m sardar or mona?

well... it depends, if that doo is good then u can but i wouldnt say yes because then u might loose that doo, if u kno how to do that doo after u wash it.. i recommend it, usually, after every hair cut.. u are supose to wash ur hair.. cuz lice and bacteria on the siccors and stuff that the salonist use and also, it keeps ur hair clean and keeps the hair that is stuck to ur head.. stuck.. and the one cut off, off
Look at it this way, they include the price of the washing in the total. So you are already paying for it. Also, they have different professional conditions/shampoos for your hair that will go along with the product line they are using.

Hair to Dare was my favorite but I'm not sure if that's crossing into Roseville. My stylist isnt there anymore but all of the ladies are very well trained. The price is great, I think I paid 90 for a cut, color and highlight so about 30 bucks for a cut.

I started my own dreads about 4 months ago. I highly suggest not going to a hair salon at all. Most of them are for African American textured hair and instead of backcombing they will use products and twist (this works for that texture hair, but if you want it backcombed, salons are not the place to go!)
Instead, get some friends to come help!
If you go this route: the most important thing is sectioning! Just make good even sections (you want them round or square, not rectangle!)
After that just get a flea comb (not used of course!) and backcomb, basically just comb the hair backwards as if you are teasing it. Do this as best you can, and then do it again! You want them to be backcombed really tight (if they aren't it's not the end of the world, dreadlocks are the hair in it's natural state, so if you don't backcomb well it will just take longer for them to develop)
On top of that, I beg you, don't put product in them! Wax is common but it's actually not so great for dreads, it makes it so they don't move so they can't knot up! It also stays in the dread and doesn't get washed out when you wash them-- not good. Just wash them with a non-residue soap and they will be great.

Cheapest I have found AND does a great job.
No wax or chemicals. Uses the crochet hook method.

I need advice on good spray tanning salons in Northeast/Eastcentral Wisconsin..?
I have fair skin and dark brown hair.
I have a formal coming up and have a nice ';prom'; dress.
My arms and legs almost glow...so I need to tan somehow, but I want to do it safely, and they are the safest effective way.
I need like a how to or step by step process to help me to know what to do when I'm there too.
Or if you have a good alternitive...

How about...hmm... they are al foolish looking perms... do it your self it will save you lots of $ka-ching$ or...i will do it for...a full year supply of *Moxie* or *Cheerwine* actually i will have BOTH i love those kind of sodas!!! =]
just DONT go to a ';Perm Mill'; they over price WAY to much for a dinky little perm!!!

I can recommend setting with curlers making sure that you get the right amount of hair in each curler because you wouldnt want him to have uneven curls this would make him look really stupid ..While your at it he could have high lights as well...........NOT......
